(Super Typhoon Ragasa) Restaurant arrangements amid Ragasa

The No.8 Gale Signal was hoisted at 2.20pm Tuesday as Super Typhoon Ragasa approached Hong Kong. Despite the extreme weather, some chain restaurants and fast-food outlets in Hong Kong are still operational, with staff providing dine-in and takeaway services for the public. Here are 20 restaurants that still operate under harsh weather conditions. 

Cafe de Coral

Most Cafe de Coral branches will remain open while the No. 8 typhoon signal is in effect, according to past practices during typhoon conditions. However, all branches will suspend operations under the No. 9 Increasing Gale or Storm Signal, with opening hours depending on the strength of the typhoon. Maxim's MX 

All branches of Maxim's MX, can.teen, Maxim's Food2, and Deli-O will remain open under the No.8 Gale Signal. Maxim's MX and Maxim's Food2 will operate until 8pm, while the airport branch will remain open 24 hours.

McDelivery service will be suspended two hours before the No.8 Gale Signal is issued, and will resume two hours after the signal is lifted.

Most TamJai SamGor stores will operate as usual, but several stores will suspend operations.
