This service allows travelers to explore the city, visit cultural landmarks and enjoy iconic harbor views, transforming their stopover into a memorable experience.
The free transit tours feature three curated routes, with two available at the program's launch.
One tour, departing at midday, takes passengers to Wong Tai Sin Temple and the vibrant streets of Sham Shui Po’s Pei Ho Street to immerse in local culture.
The other, an evening tour, visits the West Kowloon Cultural District and Tsim Sha Tsui’s Avenue of Stars for a stunning view of Victoria Harbour’s nighttime skyline.
A third route, exploring Lantau Island and Sunny Bay, is planned to open in December, pending favorable weather conditions.
Each route operates one daily tour, accommodating up to 20 passengers and led by a professional English-speaking guide, with full transportation provided. If demand grows, additional tours may be added in the future.
The initiative aims to enhance the travel experience at Hong Kong International Airport, a leading aviation hub connecting over 200 global destinations.
By offering these tours, the Airport Authority seeks to make layovers a meaningful part of a traveler’s journey, showcasing Hong Kong’s rich culture and dynamic urban landscape.
