A dangerous incident occurred in Wan Chai on Monday afternoon when a detached aluminum window plummeted from a height, shattering on a street stall below.

At around 2pm today, the window, measuring approximately 80cm by 50cm, fell onto stalls near Tai Yuen Street, sending glass fragments flying.
A woman in her 60s was struck in the leg by debris but remained conscious. She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Police cordoned off the area and traced the window to a nearby building, Fu Wing Court. Officers are investigating the cause of the incident.
A stall owner mentioned that the area was crowded with shoppers when the window suddenly fell, bounced off a platform, and landed on the sidewalk.
He expressed concern that the woman was injured by glass fragments and noted that the situation could have been fatal had the window hit her directly.
Footage showed pedestrians scrambling to safety, with the injured woman initially unaware she had been hurt.
