On 4 June, Hong Kong-born American comedian Jimmy O. Yang soaked in the vibrant atmosphere of Happy Wednesday at the iconic Happy Valley Racecourse, enjoying the energy and excitement of the crowd.

Jimmy O. Yang shared a lighthearted moment with Club Chairman Michael Lee, CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges and senior management, posing for a group photo during his visit to Happy Valley Racecourse.

Jimmy O. Yang took a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Weighing Room, where he got an up-close look at the professional weigh-in process—an exclusive glimpse into the world of horse racing.
O. Yang expressed that his visit to Happy Valley Racecourse was an incredible experience, describing the venue as a true Hong Kong landmark. He mentioned feeling the adrenaline of live horse racing while enjoying the company of friends.
He was particularly impressed by the entertainment offerings, such as the vibrant ‘Happy Wednesday’ events that attract both younger crowds and international visitors. He also expressed admiration for The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s philanthropic contributions to society.
O. Yang, who was invited by his local performance liaison, Alex Fung, spent the evening enjoying the races. He toured key facilities, including The Beat and Vantage, the parade ring, the weighing room, and other venues.
