As the much-anticipated panda twins prepare for their public debut on Sunday, February 16, Ocean Park expects to welcome about 5,000 visitors daily.
During a TV program Thursday, Pong said that the Giant Panda Adventure, home to the cubs, will implement a “flowing arrangement” to manage crowds, with a capacity of around 100 people at a time.
"I encourage visitors to plan their trips on weekdays for a better chance to see the adorable cubs and enjoy more photo opportunities," he said.
The facility will allow 800 to 1,000 visitors to enter each hour, with the pandas available for public viewing for five hours each day, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Also, the park is introducing a limited one-hour VIP tour package, accommodating a maximum of 40 guests daily.
This package provides early access to the facility before it opens to the public, allowing guests to take photos and receive a commemorative certificate of their visit.
The HK$1,500 fee includes park admission.
