The incident occurred around 3 pm near Ho Pui Tsuen on Kwok Shui Road as the green minibus and the truck were headed towards Cheung Wing Road.
Rescue workers promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured, who suffered minor injuries, to Yan Chai Hospital for medical attention.
The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
Photos posted online show a man in a red jacket sitting on the ground, surrounded by large amounts of shattered glass, as the truck driver exited his vehicle to assess the situation.
It is understood that the minibus involved was operating on route 86, which travels between Tsuen Wan West Station and Shek Lei Estate.
According to reports, the minibus was picking up and dropping off passengers at Ho Pui Tsuen when a man in his 50s was boarding. It is suspected that the truck coming from behind was unable to brake in time and collided with the rear of the minibus.
The impact caused the man boarding the minibus to fall out and onto the ground, while the minibus driver and other passengers sustained minor injuries.
