Ngong Ping cable car to temporarily close for days due to maintenance

Ngong Ping 360 announced on Friday that its cable car service will be temporarily closed for scheduled maintenance from March 4 to March 24.

During this period, while the cable cars will not be operational, Ngong Ping Village and its indoor attractions, including the Cable Car Discovery Centre and Motion 360, will remain open to visitors.

Additionally, HKID cardholders who celebrate their birthdays during the maintenance period can redeem their free birthday cable car rides on any other day in March or April, according to the spokesperson.

Ngong Ping 360 will communicate the service suspension through notices on its website and at 21 MTR stations. This will include signs on the Tung Chung line and interchange stations, as well as broadcasts at stations on the MTR Tung Chung line.
