Paint bomb hurled at Hong Kong govt HQ

The Central Government Complex - the headquarters of the HKSAR government has been paint bombed.

The discovery came at around 8 am this morning, with the police force receiving a report that a paint bomb had been hurled at the back entrance of the building facing Harcourt Road.

Officers responded to the scene and found red paint and glass bottle fragments in the flower bed and on the ground, covering an area of approximately 2-by-3 meters.

The area was cordoned off for further investigation. 

Initial investigation suggested that the culprit could have thrown beer bottles filled with red paint at the area from a height.
