Two Midland Realty branches doused with red paint, third in six days

Two more Midland Realty branches in Causeway Bay and Tai Hang were doused with red paint on Sunday morning after the North Point branch of the property agency was doused with red paint last Tuesday (May 7).

At 9.39 am today, an employee of a Midland Realty branch located on Tai Hang Road found the branch was doused with red paint before beginning work, swiftly contacting the police for assistance.

The branch's signboard and glass door were doused with paint, with a large pool of red paint left outside the door.

Around 12 minutes later, at another branch located on Leighton Road, an employee found that the window was doused with red paint, and police were called to the scene.

There were also some bills found outside that accused a person who is suspected to be a director of the Midland Realty of being a love scammer.

The police have listed the two incidents as criminal damage cases.

They are investigating the motives and perpetrators behind the two cases, along with whether they are linked.
