Man in Tai Po suffocated to death due to suspicion of cheating

A man who was found dead in Tai Po last night is suspected of being suffocated to death by his wife as he has cheated on her.

It is understood that Chung, who was murdered, and his wife, surnamed Law, were both retired.

Law and Chung often argued as Law suspected he was heading to bars to meet other women. Their conflict had recently intensified, with the duo sleeping in separate rooms.

They had been embroiled in an argument yet again a few days ago, ending with Chung heading back to his room and fixing the bed frame.

However, he accidentally fell while doing the repair work and Law was suspected of pressing Chung with a mattress platform and a mattress.

It is believed that Chung had been dead for around two to four days.

The victim has been married twice and both ended in divorce, with the ex-wives taking the children away from him.
