Body of man found in Yuen Long during stream course clearance

A body of a man in his 50s was discovered by drainage workers on stream course clearance work near San Tin Tsuen Road in Yuen Long on Saturday, two days after massive rainfall sparked flash floods across the territory.

The discovery came around noon today when the workers found a man suspected of drowning lying unconscious among woody debris.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
