At least 33 flights between Hong Kong, Osaka, and Nagoya have been canceled or delayed under the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Lan, with five Cathay Pacific flights between Hong Kong and Osaka canceled on Tuesday.

At least ten more flights between the SAR and central and western Japan have been delayed for today and tomorrow.
Lan made landfall in Japan on Tuesday morning, bringing heavy rain and strong waves and disrupting the transportation network in central and western Japan.
About six HKExpress flights that were set to fly to and from Osaka had to delay their takeoff time, while the bad weather also disrupted two flights to and from Nagoya.
Six Hong Kong Airlines flights heading to and from Osaka were retimed, while at least three Peach Aviation flights traveling between Hong Kong and Osaka today and tomorrow were also canceled.
Airlines have recommended that travelers check their flight information before heading to the airport.
