A woman was sent to the hospital after a gust of wind from tropical storm Talim snapped a large tree limb that fell on her on Sunday.
At around 4 pm, police received a report that a woman was struck by a 20-meter-tall tree that suddenly fell on South Bay Road, Repulse Bay.
She suffered a head injury and lying on the ground unresponsive. The paramedics conducted emergency first aid, and she regained consciousness before being taken to the Queen Mary Hospital.
The police are currently investigating the incident.
