(Central Station) Passengers to get $2 rebate for KMB rides

KMB and AlipayHK co-launch a “Quick Reward Code” for bus fare concession, encouraging passengers to integrate the electronic consumption patterns in travel.

Passengers can redeem two HK$1 coupons by scanning the QR code on relevant promotional materials displayed on 800 bus poles.

A HK$1 bus fare will be deducted automatically for each trip when passengers pay with AlipayHK “EasyGo” on KMB routes. The preferential quota is 50,000 per month for six months. Users can redeem the coupons once each calendar month throughout the promotion period.

“AlipayHK EasyGo has already supported nearly 90% of local public transport, including KMB. In addition to daily shopping and consumption, AlipayHK users can enjoy a smooth and convenient mobile payment and more affordable rides when taking KMB,” Venetia Lee, General Manager of Alipay in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan said.
