[Video] Scaffolding collapse sees Saigon Street temporarily sealed off

A large scaffolding structure at a Jordan commercial building collapsed on Tuesday afternoon, affecting traffic on Saigon Street.

At 3pm today, police received reports that a seven-by-eight meter scaffolding at a commercial building located on 3 Saigon Street in Jordan was teetering and swaying off the side of the building, and had partially collapsed onto the road below. 

No one was injured.

Due to the fallen scaffolding, all lanes of Saigon Street are closed to all traffic, with motorists not able to make left turns onto Saigon Street from Chi Wo Street. Traffic is busy as of 6pm.
