HK’s Chief Executive wishes Hongkongers a harmonious, auspicious and healthy Year of the Ox

Chief Executive Carrie Lam has published her annual Lunar New Year greeting to Hongkongers, wishing citizens a harmonious, auspicious and healthy Year of the Ox.

The minute-long video appeared on Lam’s Facebook page on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the public holiday.

Lam said the ox is a symbol of diligence and perseverance, which she believes that as long as Hong Kong stand united and work together with perseverance, the city can certainly rise above all challenges and scale new heights.

She also said citizens can make use of technology to extend their festive greetings amid the epidemic, and to enjoy a quiet Spring Festival.
