Hong Kong's most successful rower Lee Ka-man is retiring after 20 years in the sport, RTHK reports.
The 34-year-old made the announcement on Facebook, saying injuries have made it impossible for her to continue her quest to qualify for next year's Tokyo Olympics.
The Tai Po resident joined the Hong Kong rowing team when she was 14 and has since represented the SAR at two Olympics and five Asian Games.
In her Facebook message, Lee said she has been dealing with injuries following Rio 2016 and was contemplating retirement at the end of the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
She retires with four Asian Games medals and 14 Asian Senior Championships medals, including two golds.
