Hong Kong stocks opened higher at the second day in a row, with three newly listed shares climbing as much as 180 percent.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened at 26,674, 51 points or 0.19 percent higher than the previous close.
The tech gauge also advanced to 6,345, 0.34 percent higher from previous close.
Today, three new stocks were listed. Zijin Gold International (2259), spun off from Zijin Mining (2289), opened at HK$111.5, 56 percent higher than its offering price. Shenzhen Hipine Precision Technology (2583), a domestic precious metal watch brand, opened at HK$84, up 180 percent. Pateo Connect Technology (Shanghai) (2889), a domestic smart cockpit solution provider, opened at HK$135, up 32 percent.
