The internet is abuzz over a viral moment from Coldplay’s recent concert in Boston, where CEO Andy Byron and his HR head, Kristin Cabot, were caught in an awkward embrace on the stadium’s "Kiss Cam"—sparking widespread speculation about an alleged affair.
As frontman Chris Martin playfully scanned the crowd during the performance, the camera landed on Byron and Cabot, who appeared locked in a close, intimate sway.
The moment turned tense when the pair suddenly noticed themselves on the jumbotron, quickly pulling apart in apparent panic. The crowd erupted in laughter, with Martin quipping, "Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy."

The clip spread rapidly across X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram, with many users pointing out that Byron is married.
Some even claimed to have located his wife’s social media, which was reportedly flooded with comments before she removed her last name from her profiles.
Was there an official response?
A purported statement from Byron began circulating online, expressing regret over the incident.
In the message, he allegedly apologized to his wife, family, and colleagues, calling the moment a "deeply personal mistake" and vowing to reflect on his actions.
The statement even referenced Coldplay’s lyrics: "Lights will guide you home... and I will try to fix you."
However, X’s Community Notes later flagged the post as originating from a parody account, confirming the statement was fabricated. Neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly addressed the allegations, leaving the authenticity of their relationship—and the fallout—unconfirmed.
Astronomer, the data software company where Byron serves as CEO and Cabot as Chief People Officer, has also remained silent on the matter.
