Hong Kong’s iconic music and arts festival, Clockenflap, announced the first wave of acts for this year, featuring Rap star Rich Brian and singer-songwriter Jacob Collier, along with the release of early bird tickets.
The festival will take place at Central Harbourfront from December 5 (Friday) until December 7 (Sunday).
Brian and Collier will be joined by Scottish indie legends Franz Ferdinand and singer Yoga Lin from Taiwan. Former Portishead frontwoman Beth Gibbons and local singer-songwriter Panther Chan are also featured.
The initial lineup also includes British singer-songwriter Passenger and German electro-house hellraisers Digitalism (DJ set) on Friday, while fans can enjoy Soccer Mommy, Chilli Beans, Phum Viphurit, and Akasaki on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, TV Girl, and DJ Riria will take over the stage on Sunday, with Bitter Tea of General Yen, shattering their 40-year silence with an unprecedented live performance.
The organizer highlighted that more artist lineup will be unveiled in a press release.
In addition, Clockenflappers will be able to enjoy an array of eye-popping art installations, family-friendly workshops, performances, and a mouth-watering selection of F&B outlets.
Early Bird tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday and will be available until next Friday (May 23) on the official ticketing platform, Ticketflap. The single-day General Admission tickets are priced at HK$1,150, while a three-day admission is available for HK$1,790.
