Sierra Sea in Sai Sha about 78 times oversubscribed

Sun Hung Kai Properties' (0016) Sierra Sea has received 25,000 cheques for the first batch of flats at Sierra Sea in Sai Sha, marking an oversubscription of about 78 times.

The developer will put 329 units in total for sale on Saturday, including 318 flats from the price lists.

The subscription will close at 8pm on Thureday. 

Andy Chan Hon-lun, general manager at SHKP's real estate agency, expects more show flat visits after the Eastern holiday, helping the number of cheques exceed 30,000 in the end.

Chan added that the company may roll out more flats as soon as possible according to the sales in the first round.
