Kai Tak mall targets late '24 launch

A retail mall in Kai Tak operated by K11 group has rented out nearly 70 percent of its space.

K11 said the mall will be completed late this year at the earliest to tie in with the launch of other major facilities at the Kai Tak Sports Park in the first half of 2025.

With a total gross floor area of nearly 700,000 square feet, the mall will be comprised of three towers of up to five stories each, which will become a landmark in Hong Kong that provides sports, shopping and entertainment experiences, according to K11.

K11 said it is keen to develop a new "sports and entertainment" model for its retail mall, in which one-third of stores offer sports and entertainment-related retail experiences.

The mall will have more than 200 stores and various sports brands will set up specialty stores here, K11 said.
