Zhongji Innolight (3308) reported its net profit for the first half of 2026 surging 241.7 times year on year to 13.65 billion yuan after listing in Hong Kong on July 30, with strong demand for its optical transceiver solutions and growing investments in artificial infrastructure.
The company declared an interim dividend of 12 yuan per 10 shares, or HK$13.88 per 10 H shares.
Revenue surged 182.5 percent to 41.78 billion yuan, of which optical transceivers increased 99 percent to 41.36 billion yuan. The company said revenue growth was mainly attributed to the strong demand from its major customers and its growing investments in AI infrastructure.
Its revenue from overseas business grew 209.9 percent to 39.61 billion yuan. The company’s high-speed optical transceiver products, such as 800G and 1.6T, received strong demand from overseas customers, as it continued to deliver high-speed optical transceiver products in volume to the majority of global top-tier cloud service providers and AI computing solution providers.
Its revenue from the Chinese mainland rose 7.7 percent to 2.16 billion yuan, driven by increased customer demand and their continued investments in AI infrastructure.
As mainland internet companies are rapidly integrating AI into their operations and increasing investments in AI infrastructure, the company said it is seizing opportunities in domestic computing power, strengthening ties with leading cloud providers, and steadily expanding high-speed product offerings such as 400G and 800G.
Benefiting from the strong investment in computing power infrastructure by its major customers in the AI Industry, its 800G and 1.6T product shipments grew rapidly, the optical transceivers manufacturer also saw its operating revenue grow significantly.
The company’s R&D expenses were 1.15 billion yuan, up 96.9 percent.
Looking ahead, the company said it plans to strengthen R&D and maintain its market position in optical interconnects. Leveraging its first-mover advantages and experience in silicon photonics and coherent optics, it will increase investment in core products such as 1.6T and 3.2T optical modules. The company will also develop next-generation products, including NPO, XPO, CPO, and OCS, to meet the needs of AI data centers.
At the same time, the company said it is also committed to global expansion, adding that it will continue to expand its global manufacturing and production capacity reserves, and continuously optimize its global supply chain and production base layout, including establishing a diversified raw material procurement system and enhancing supply chain resilience.
