Hang Seng Index falls through 25,000 points in early trading on Friday

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell below the 25,000 point mark in the early morning trading session on Friday.

The benchmark index declined by 248 points, or 1 percent to 24,760 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index dropped by 2.1 percent to around 4,732 points.
