IMF chief economist says China needs to reduce dependence on exports

International ​Monetary Fund ‌chief economist Pierre-Olivier ​Gourinchas ​said on Tuesday ⁠that ​China's economic ​output will decelerate in ​2027 ​due to weak ‌domestic ⁠consumption, repeating his call ​for ​the ⁠world's second-largest ​economy to ​reduce ⁠its dependence ⁠on ​exports ​for growth.
