Galaxy Entertainment reports 22pc rise in net profit amid Macau's tourism recovery

Galaxy Entertainment (0027) said on Thursday that its net profit grew 22 percent to HK$10.7 billion, driven by robust recovery in Macau's tourism industry.

Besides, a final dividend of 80 HK cents per share will be paid and the total dividend for the year is HK$1.5, representing year-on-year increases of 60 percent and 50 percent respectively.

The adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization increased 19 percent to HK$14.5 billion.

Group net revenue for the year reached HK$49.2 billion, up 13 percent from the previous year, with gross gaming revenue rising approximately 19.4 percent to HK$49.1 billion. 

Galaxy Entertainment highlighted that it will remain firmly focused on accelerating Phase 4 development while further expanding non-gaming offerings, including mega shows and international events, to further diversify Macau's tourism and leisure portfolio beyond gaming.
