Alibaba Health interim profit up by nearly 65 percent

Alibaba Health Information Technology (0241) posted a 64.7 percent rise in net profit to 1.27 billion yuan (HK$1.4 billion) for the six months through September.

Revenue for the period also jumped 17 percent to 16.7 billion yuan, thanks to the steady growth of the pharmaceutical direct sales business and healthcare and pharmaceutical e-commerce platform business, the company said.
