HSI jumps 1.28pc on Sino-US trade framework

Hong Kong stocks leapt at Monday open, driven by optimistism after the United States and China reached an agreement on a trade framework.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened at 26,495, 335 points or 1.28 percent higher than the previous close.

The tech gauge also advanced to 6,184, 2.06 percent higher from previous close.
