Hong Kong stocks rallied at the Monday open, after losing 1.6 percent last week.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened at 26,321, 193 points or 0.74 percent higher than the previous close.
The tech gauge also advanced to 6,236, 0.67 percent higher from previous close.
