Sunny Optical Tech lens shipments rise

Sunny Optical Technology (2382) said shipments of  handset lens sets grew by 15.5 percent from a year ago, or an incerase of 3.2 percent month-on-month, to 168 million units last month.

Shipment of vehicle lens sets expanded by 32 percent year-on-year to 6.37 million units in September, rising by 17.7 percent from that in August with reduced impact from the epidemic, the company, said.

Shipments of handset camera modules also grew by 21.9 percent year-on-year to 58.96 million units last month.
