A highlight of Macao’s cultural calendar is the 2025 Macao International Parade, which will take place along bustling streets filled with festive energy on March 23. This year, the parade will feature performing groups from around the globe alongside extraordinary local artists. The theme, “Love, Peace, and Cultural Integration,” reflects Macao’s spirit of coexistence and innovation.
Kicking off at the Ruins of St. Paul’s at 3pm, the parade will present vibrant performances that captivate the audience. Participants will engage with the public, showcasing Macao as a “Culture City of East Asia.” The VIVA Carnival, located at Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van, will offer exciting performances and interactive game booths, ensuring a lively atmosphere. The grand finale at Sai Van Lake Square at 6:30pm will feature all participating groups celebrating cultural integration.

An interactive gastronomic adventure with the master chef
The Gastronomic Journey with Master Chef Justin Paul is another exciting event. Previously the head chef at the Michelin-starred Golden Peacock, Chef Paul leads this adventure that combines market visits, street food sampling, and interactive cooking.
The journey begins at a local wet market, where participants will source fresh ingredients before exploring hidden alleys to savor Macao’s iconic street snacks. Under Chef Paul’s expert guidance, they will learn to prepare a series of delicious dishes and then sit down to enjoy their own culinary creations.
This event runs from 12pm to 3pm and will be conducted in both Cantonese and English. Meeting at S. Lourenço Market, admission is MOP 150, and registration is required.

DIY culinary treats: create your own delicious delights
Dive into the delightful world of Macao’s gastronomy with the “So Yummy! Macao Local Cuisine Experience”. This unique event, organized by two local shops, invites participants to craft two beloved treats: the Portuguese egg tart and the Samba-yaki egg waffle. From now until the 15th, join the food-making experience at Fong Seng Lei Lai Lembranças, and from March 16th to 22nd, head to Hamo Yaki for the Samba-yaki egg waffle session.
Participants can also unleash their creativity by designing custom packaging for their treats. Admission is free with a minimum purchase of MOP300 at local shops or MOP100 at the event venues.

The Macanese Cuisine Cooking Experience offers an engaging opportunity for those eager to master Macanese cooking. From March 22 to April 20, participants can join esteemed chef Antonieta Manhão (Neta) to create traditional dishes. This experience emphasizes cooking techniques while sharing the cultural significance of Macanese cuisine.
Taking place on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 2:30pm at No.2 Calçada da Igreja de S.Lázaro, participants will receive vouchers worth MOP 200 for designated shops upon completion of the event.
