The latest version of 350 4Matic will be available in the second quarter of this year with a minimum price of HK$960,000 under the One-for-One Replacement scheme.
As with the EQS and EQE, the midsize EQE-SUV has a new all-electric chassis.
The vehicle is 4.86 meters in length, 1.94 meters in width and 1.68 meters in height - slightly shorter than EQE saloon.
Enjoying a total capacity of 90.6kWh provided by a lithium-ion battery and four-wheel-drive, the vehicle enables a WLTP cruise range marking 561 kilometers, a maximum output of about 292hp per second and an acceleration of 6.6 seconds for zero to 100 kmh.
Although it is smaller than EQE - shorter by 132 mm in body length and narrower by 11 mm in width - the SUV has a higher ground clearance, which provides drivers and passengers easier access to the cockpit.
The width for head room for both the front and rear seats is about one meter.
Drivers sit in spacious comfort, as the elbow width for the driving seat is 1.54 meters. The rear seats are quite comfortable with 1.03 meters of leg room.
An impressive luggage capacity can be seen in the EQE SUV. Marking 520 liters as standard, the space can also accommodate up to 580 liters by tilting the back of the rear seat 10 degrees forward if required. Further space of up to 1,675 liters is available when the rear seats are completely flattened.
The car's interior layout is much the same as the EQE, with digital instrumentation and a large HD vertical screen in the center console for a easy accessibility and simple appearance.
The EQE SUV is equipped with the optional MBUX Hyperscreen, which features software that can be adapted to the user's preference and offers a wide range of suggestions for infotainment, ride comfort and vehicle functions.
The innovative MBUX Hyperscreen features a Zero layer function, which automatically prioritizes the most important functions directly in the field of the user's vision by artificial intelligence suggestions without detours via sub-menus.
Additionally, the EQE SUV is fitted with a Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos built-in, featuring 15 high-definition, high-performance speakers with a total output of 710 watts.
Moreover, the vehicle is also equipped with a number of driver assistance systems, including Active Brake Assist, Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist and a 360-degree surround view camera for parking.
