Junior Anderson, famously known as TVB’s “Diamond Bachelor,” has long kept his love life private, but his romantic relationships have recently drawn attention. According to East Week, a sister publication of The Standard, the 64-year-old host has been spotted in the company of multiple women, prompting speculation about his personal life.
During a recent event in Wan Chai, Anderson was closely accompanied by a woman resembling Samantha Ko Hoi-ling. The pair left the venue together. Anderson changed into a black suit while she helped carry his orange jacket, a gesture observers noted as indicative of their close rapport. Anderson was later seen driving the woman toward Causeway Bay.

Anderson’s romantic history extends beyond his recent encounter. In 2021, he was exclusively spotted by East Week walking hand-in-hand with co-host Adrianna Sung Chih Ling in San Po Kong, sparking rumors of a romance.
Despite their on-camera chemistry, the pair denied being a couple at the time—until last month, when longtime friend Dominic Lam Kar-wah playfully asked, “Who is your partner?” Anderson’s response, “Do you still have to ask?” was widely interpreted by the public as an admission of his affection for Sung.
Anderson and Sung’s on-screen rapport has been widely appreciated. They even performed a mock wedding ceremony for a TV program, earning praise for their apparent compatibility. Despite a 17-year age difference, the pair share common interests, including investments—Anderson reportedly owns properties in Yuen Long and Canada, while Sung runs a Korean language school, manages immigration and education businesses, and is involved in finance trading.

Yet, Anderson’s romantic life remains complex. Sophia, his former assistant and long-time companion since 2005, is reportedly still closely connected to him. In a rare interview, Anderson acknowledged hoping she remains around but emphasized that marriage is not on his agenda, stating that he has “passed the marriageable age.”
At 64, Anderson continues to attract attention as TVB’s elusive “Diamond Bachelor,” admired for his charisma and surrounded by affection, yet still choosing to fly solo.
Johnny Tang Siu-chuen, known for his own romantic exploits, remarked that Anderson is unlikely to marry, consistent with his long-standing bachelor image.
