Ho was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2016. During this difficult period, she grappled with suicidal thoughts, yet she emerged stronger, ultimately overcoming the disease and reclaiming her health.

Ho bought the British racing team Smiths Racing, rebranding it as FHO Racing. The achievement made her the sole female owner in British Motorcycle Racing. In a new chapter of her life, Ho found love again and remarried Stuart, the Motorcycle Championship Director, in 2023.
