Labor chief departs for Malaysia to promote HK’s talent policy on Thu

Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun Yuk-han will depart for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday (Apr 10) to attract talent to pursue their careers in Hong Kong.

The labor chief will participate in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Talent Development Showcase to promote the city’s diverse talent policy and career prospects.

He will also visit Universiti Malaya and meet with officials from the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia and representatives of local chambers.

Meanwhile, a delegation comprising speakers from various companies and industry associations will join the visit, along with representatives from nearly 40 leading companies in the Greater Bay Area.

Sun is expected to return to Hong Kong on Saturday evening.
