At 9.18 am today, authorities were alerted to an incident involving four vehicles that had been parked in an open lot located behind Maple Gardens on Kin Wah Street.
The vehicles were found with smashed windows and covered in a corrosive substance.
Upon arrival, police initiated an investigation, treating the incident as an act of criminal damage, and are now probing the motives behind the vandalism.
The parking area, which had about 10 vehicles, included some that were awaiting repairs.
One green Tesla was seen with its hood covered in paint, while another black Tesla had a dented hood.
It is understood that security camera footage from the site revealed a man dressed in dark-colored attire, wearing a mask at the scene of the crime, who is suspected to be involved in the vandalism.
