A woman was arrested after two air purifiers plummeted from a height in Mong Kok on Sunday afternoon, injuring a pedestrian.

The incident took place at 4 pm when the air purifiers, each measuring 40 centimeters by 15 centimeters, unexpectedly fell from the canopy of an egg stall onto Cheung Wong Road, striking a pedestrian below.
The victim, a 22-year-old male pedestrian surnamed Shek, sustained head injuries but was conscious when he was transported to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, police arrived at the scene and arrested a 55-year-old female shopkeeper of the egg stall, surnamed Lee, on suspicion of causing objects to fall from a height.
Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
