Trio on the run after $1m Sheung Shui jewelry heist

Police are hunting for three burglars who stormed into a jewelry shop in Sheung Shui and absconded with approximately HK$1 million worth of jewelry during an early morning raid.

Officers were called to the store in Landmark North at around 7 am this morning. The suspects had fled before officers arrived.

According to the preliminary investigation, three hammer-wielding burglars were involved in the incident and fled in a getaway car.

Officers are now searching for three male suspects without giving any more details.
