One dead, another seriously injured after Kwun Tong health center fight

A woman died and another woman was seriously injured after the two fought each other at the Kwun Tong Community Health Center on Wednesday afternoon. Sources said one of them wielded a knife during the fight. 

The fight took place in the health center’s women’s washroom around 2.55 pm today. 

Police arrived at the scene to investigate after receiving the report. Officers found blood stains on the floor and one of them had fallen into a coma, with knife wounds to her face and head. 

The woman was rushed to the United Christian Hospital but was eventually pronounced dead at 3.28 pm. 

Another woman was also seriously injured and was sent to the same hospital. 

Police are still investigating the cause of the incident. 

Sources said the deceased woman was surnamed Yung, aged 80. The other woman was surnamed Or, aged 52. Or now remains in a stable condition. 

Police have arrested Or and the case is now being handled by the Kwun Tong district crime squad. It was learned that the victim and the suspect were neighbours.
