Hong Kong’s Green Hour Foundation to host Shek O beach cleanup

Green Hour, a local environmental organization, is hosting a beach cleanup drive at Shek O Beach on September 10th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

The cleanup drive is aimed at removing litter and debris from the beach, which can harm marine life and damage the ecosystem. Green Hour hopes to raise awareness about the importance of keeping our beaches clean and preserving the environment. 

Green Hour HK is a registered charity working to promote green living through engaging grassroots members of society. 

Their mission is to educate all members of society on how it is not just easy to help the planet, it is also fun. 

The organization was established in 2018 to raise awareness in the community of the importance of environmental protection. 

Green Hour HK has organized dozens of cleanups, over one hundred weekly Bun Runs fighting food waste, as well as school and corporate partnerships, making a positive impact in Hong Kong. 

They aim to make sustainability accessible to all walks of life.  

They encourage everyone to join them in their efforts to keep our beaches clean and protect the environment.
