The school principal of Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong have issued a letter to parents saying she expressed great sorrow and regret over one of their teachers being deregistered.
In the letter issued by principal Ng Lai-fan, she said the school had received many emails and notes of sympathy these days from parents and alumni, expressing their support towards their teachers and staff. She appreciated everyone for showing their love in times of trouble instead of happiness.
Ng also said in the letter the school wishes to accord top priority to students, allowing them to continue their study in a peaceful environment. She stressed that they will try their utmost to let students grow with care under such stormy times.
An unnamed teacher at Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong was previously deregistered by the Education Bureau for allegedly creating teaching materials on Hong Kong independence for primary children.
