Police were alerted after a man was attacked by three knife-wielding men in Sham Shui Po on Thursday night.
The incident happened at around 9 pm yesterday (Oct 11) near Yee Kuk Street, where the trio then got into a sedan once they had finished their attack.
The injured man, who suffered injuries to his head, hand, and shoulders, took a taxi and headed to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical attention on his own.
The police were then alerted to the scene shortly before 10 pm, and listed the incident as an assault case after a preliminary investigation.
The case has been handed over to the Sham Shui Po anti-triad unit, and they are currently looking for three men, aged between 39 and 43.
The police had temporarily cordoned off the area near the street to search for traces of the attackers, along with combing through nearby security footage and car cameras.
