Minibus burst into flames in Tsuen Wan, no injuries reported

Passengers and the driver have to run for their lives after a minibus caught fire in Tsuen Wan this morning.

A minibus heading along Wai Tsuen Road suddenly started smoking as it got near the Shing Mun Valley Swimming Pool around 10 am.

The driver have to maneuver the minibus to the side of the road before the vehicle burst into flames.

Fortunately, the passengers and the driver were able to escape before the fire swallowed the whole minibus.

Firefighters deployed one water jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire swiftly.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
