Maritime Square features the ‘underwater world’ of Atlantis. You can partake in adventures with lifelike marine animals such as stingrays, sea turtles and Chinese white dolphins made of Lego bricks, tailor made by Andy Hung, the first Chinese LEGO Certified Professional. Children can learn about the importance of ocean protection while trying to defend undersea treasures at Atlantis.
You can also box up the fun and bring it home by selecting your Lego favorites at the PopUp store, offering over 200 hot and new products.
Over at Citywalk, the adventure continues with a concerted effort to save our earth. Running from mid-July till the end of August, the ‘Go Green! Save the Earth’ campaign is packed with fun-filled games, craft workshops and fairs to raise awareness of protecting our environment.
With the mall transformed into an African jungle, the endangered elephants are seeking help from little Eco-Rangers. Children will go through a series of obstacles challenging their motor skills to cross the river and feed the elephants. Successful challengers win the opportunity to make a notebook from elephant-feces-recycled paper.
Another highlight of the campaign is a 4-meter tall African forest elephant made of recycled cartons. The instagrammable exhibit is designed to educate the public on protecting the critically endangered species.
From Africa to Asia, Metro City Plaza is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the beloved Japanese cartoon character Chibi Maruko-chan with ‘Chibi Maruko Chan x Street Fighter - The Cutest League’ campaign.
At MCP Central, the cute Maruko-chan and friends will be dressed in Street Fighter outfits, recreating 6 classic combat scenes from the popular animation series.
The city also welcomes its first ‘Chibi Maruko Chan x Street Fighter’ themed exhibition at MCP Discovery, featuring exhibits from Japan. Nine original character manuscripts will be making their debut alongside with some other rare collectibles.
Fans can also enjoy interactive experience by joining the Street Fighter arcade game and ‘Interactive Dojo’ motion sensing game to bring the fighter scenes to life again.
