Seoul Gangbuk Police Station reported the suspect, identified only as Kim, scored above the threshold of 25 points on the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R), which measures 20 indicators including coldness and lack of empathy. The maximum score is 40.
Kim is accused of luring three men in their 20s to motels since December, adding benzodiazepine drugs to their drinks. Two died, one survived. Police found searches on her phone asking ChatGPT about lethal doses of sleeping pills and how to avoid responsibility if caught.

Following the release of suspected Instagram photos, Kim's follower count surged to over 11,000 within days – a 50-fold increase. Some comments expressed support based on her appearance, with remarks including "Pretty = innocent," "Her sentence should be reduced," and "I'm on your side."
Experts warn this may reflect hybristophilia – attraction to criminals based on looks or status – potentially encouraging distorted values or copycat behavior.
On the day her second victim died, Kim allegedly posted selfies with hashtags seeking followers, raising suspicions she was seeking new targets online. Police are expanding their investigation to identify possible additional victims.
