Hong Kong secured its third gold medal at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain on Tuesday as esports athlete Micky Chan claimed victory in the Street Fighter 6 competition.

The win brought the Hong Kong delegation's total medal count to three gold, one silver and six bronze medals.
Philip Mok, honorary deputy secretary general of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong and chef de mission for the Hong Kong team, said: "Micky Chan demonstrated superb tactics in the Street Fighter 6 event, maintaining perfect focus to win all matches in the round-robin stage and advance to the finals. He competed against his opponent to the deciding game and remained calm even when trailing, ultimately winning another gold medal for Hong Kong."

Also on Tuesday, cyclist Hannah Law captured bronze in the women's 75-kilometer road race, her second medal of the Games.
The Hong Kong team had won its first gold on Monday when swimmer Sasha Lee triumphed in the women's 50-meter freestyle, before teaming up with Chelsie Lam, Gilaine Ma and Eunis Man to claim gold in the women's 4x100-meter freestyle relay.
