To rekindle our appreciation for the city, charitable organization HKALPS will host the Hometown Stories - Watercolours Exhibition from March 21 to April 20 at VESSEL 02 Gallery, located at 90 Hai Bun Road in Kwun Tong.
The exhibition will showcase 30 works by acclaimed watercolor artist Stephen Yau, which capture the iconic architecture of Hong Kong, everyday life in its streets, and the rich human connections that define the city in his work.
One of the pieces, Livelihood, features a tightly bundled stack of cardboard boxes, symbolizing the hard work and dedication of the elderly, providing a tangible representation of their struggles and resilience in the face of life's challenges.
Admission is free.
