Pet lovers out in force

Thirty thousand pet lovers visited this year’s Hong Kong Pet Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between last Thursday and Sunday, with over 200 exhibitors represented.

“The number of visitors remained brisk, unaffected by the increase in cross-border shopping and overseas travel,” said chairman of the Exhibition Group Carl Wong.

“The pet market is a rigid demand, especially since most of products in the exhibition are only available in Hong Kong. And with the growing number of pets business continues to grow.”

The organizer also said the concurrent Lohas Expo 2024 at HKCEC generated a synergistic effect with the pet show, particularly the newly added pavilions such as the Coffee Market and the Halal Pavilion, which attracted a large number of visitors and exceeded expectations.
