China Overseas sees 19pc drop in 2025 property sales

China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. (0688)'s contracted property sales fell 19.1 percent year-on-year to about 251.23 billion yuan (HK$280.09 billion) last year, according to the company's exchange filing on Wednesday.

Contracted sales area fell 8.1 percent from a year earlier to about 10.5608 million square meters.

In December alone, contracted property sales of the China Overseas group amounted to about 39.832 billion yuan, down 1 percent year-on-year, while contracted sales area rose 2.4 percent to around 1.3324 million square meters.

In addition, as of the end of last year, the China Overseas group recorded about 2.828 billion yuan in subscribed property sales, which are expected to be converted into contracted property sales in the coming months.
