HAMA sushi opens with belts and tablets

Behold, sushi lovers! A popular Japanese conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain, HAMA-SUSHI, launched its first diner in Jordan yesterday.

The chain offers more than 70 different types of sushi and side dishes. Fresh sushi will be prepared at the time of order, said senior director of Zensho Hong Kong Mr Toyoki Hayashi.

Customers will be able to use the restaurant's unique ordering system by using tablets and the belt conveyor serving lanes.

The restaurant will open from 10.30am to 10.30pm daily.

Customers are not welcome after 10pm and their last order must be placed by 10.15pm.

To reserve a table, customers will need to first register for membership by leaving their e-mail address or phone number on their website.

HAMA-SUSHI is a restaurant brand set up by Zensho Holdings, one of the top restaurant groups in Japan engaging in the business of food.

It also opened SUKIYA, the beef rice eatery in Hong Kong in 2019.
